World Book Day

Pupils and staff celebrated World Book Day with a day of exciting literacy based activities. Everyone dressed up as their favourite book character and the day’s events started with an assembly to show off their super costumes!

During the day pupils discussed their book characters, carried out reading tasks and took part in a World Book Day Quiz.

This annual event is always very popular with the children.  Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day and we feel that is an excellent way to continue to promote reading and the value of books in education.
