His uncle makes a great curry sauce and who could forget his 1970’s costume capers based cartoon, but today Mr Benn has a new claim to fame, that’s because the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland was lucky enough to meet the boys and girls from St Joseph’s Tyrella. The pupils had been show casing their GAA and rugby skills when Mr Ben bumped into them and and had a chat about their thoughts on the New Down Centre of Excellence in Ballykinlar. And they told the Secretary of State what everyone already knows…….Everything is excellent in Ballykinlar!!!
