P6 and P7 class braved the cold and wet weather to enjoy a day at Newcastle Beach with our friends at Newcastle Primary School. The aim of our shared education was to go on a scavenger hunt to find items on the beach that matched our cards. We found things that were smooth, round, triangular shape, heart shaped, smelt like the sea and bumpy. We were very successful ticking off all the items we needed to find on our lists. We even got to visit the local park for some more fun.
We look forward to seeing our friends again soon on our residential trip to Tollymore in June.
