At St. Joseph’s Tyrella, our Primary 6 and 7 pupils are using Newsdesk in class to explore current events from around the world. This engaging resource helps children develop their understanding of global issues, improve literacy skills and spark thoughtful discussions. Pupils enjoy reading articles, watching videos and sharing opinions on topics that matter. It’s a fantastic way to connect classroom learning with real world events and encourage curiosity about the world around them.
