Today Mrs Turley set up a pretend Mother's Day Gift shop in the classroom, the children have been learning all about money and enjoyed using money in a real-life context. The children used toy money to buy items such as jewellery,flowers,chocolates and books. The price of the items were displayed on the board and the children took turns as a customer to buy their mummy a gift using the correct coins.The shopkeeper checked the money and gave them their gifts!
