The Sacrament of Confirmation was joyfully celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, Dundrum, in a warm and uplifting ceremony that brought together pupils, families, and the parish community. The occasion was made especially meaningful through the presence of Canon Fleck, Bishop Alan McGuckian, and Deacon James, who together led a reverent and inspiring celebration of faith.
A special mention must be given to the pupils from Saint Joseph’s Primary School—Ollie, Finn, and Aidan—who carried out their roles with great confidence and respect. They read beautifully during the ceremony and reverently brought forward the gifts, contributing meaningfully to the liturgy. Their participation was a credit to their school and to the preparation they had received.
The sense of community extended beyond the church service, as Sacred Heart Primary School kindly hosted refreshments afterwards in their hall. Families, teachers, and parish members gathered together to enjoy tea and conversation, creating a relaxed and joyful atmosphere after the formal celebration.
