What an incredible afternoon we had at the Ballykinlar GAA Club for the OAP Christmas Dinner event! Our talented school choir sang their hearts out, performing a beautiful selection of Christmas songs that filled the room with festive cheer. The pensioners in attendance were absolutely delighted by the children’s singing, and the applause said it all – they were amazing!
The children were treated to a fantastic experience. They enjoyed a tasty meal of chicken nuggets and chips, followed by a very special visit from Santa Claus himself! Santa brought sweets for everyone, and the excitement didn’t stop there – the children had the chance to sit on an amazing inflatable Santa sleigh, which was a huge hit. Before heading home, each child received a selection box, making the day even more memorable.
It truly was a wonderful afternoon full of joy, laughter, and community spirit. We want to say a special thank you to Maria McKeating for inviting us to this fantastic event and for preparing the delicious dinner that was kindly served to our teachers. Your hard work and generosity made the day extra special for everyone involved.
