As our wonderful P7 children prepare to take their next big step into secondary school, we spent our final week celebrating their incredible journey, achievements and friendships with fun, laughter and reflection. Here is a look at their action packed week.
The week kicked off with our annual sports night, followed the next morning by an exciting Gaelic match with different classes. After giving it their all on the pitch, the whole school cooled down and enjoyed a well deserved delicious hot dog snack. On Wednesday the P7 children turned into chefs, making and flipping their own crepes with a buffet of favourite toppings, it was perfect fuel for a class party afterwards filled with music, dancing and great memories. Our KS2 trip took place on Thursday, they had an absolute blast splashing down the slides, taking on the water features and enjoying a brilliant day to Lisburn swimming pool. We finished the week with a beautiful, emotional leavers mass to bless the children and look back on their journey from P1 to P7. Such a proud moment for all our staff and families.
Thank you to our fabulous P7 class for being such a joy to teach. We are so proud of you and we wish you the very best of luck in your new schools. Always remember to work hard, be kind and shine brightly! You will be missed!
