Bee Safe Event for P7 Pupils

10th Feb 2016

On Tuesday the 9th of February all the P.7 pupils went to the Bee safe day in Downpatrick.  we learned about bus safety, electric safety, fire safety, internet safety, farm safety and house safety. First we arrived and got taken to a hall were we got into groups. Then we went to a fire safety workshop, we got little remotes and they ha buttons which stood for true and false, we had to answer questions about fires and what you should do if you are in a fire.  Next we moved on to the bus safety station,  Kevin he told us all about what we should do to attract the attention of the bus driver, we watched a video on a boy called Jack and he pushed a boy from his school onto the road and was hit by the bus and the bus driver gave up about getting on and off buses safely. After learning a lot of information about keeping safe we went back to school. We enjoyed our day out and learned a lot about keeping safe.
